CASTOR OIL PACK

Castor oil packs aid in the elimination and detoxification of the body.

Indications: The castor oil pack has many applications and is used in many conditions including uterine fibroids,
non-malignant ovarian cysts, headaches, migraines, constipation, colitis and other intestinal disorders, gallbladder
and liver conditions, arthritis and chest colds.

Contraindications: Do not use heat with uterine growths, excessive menstrual bleeding or irregular bleeding,
pregnancy, or ulcers. Do not fall asleep while using the electric heating pad.

MATERIALS NEEDED
1. Cotton Flannel Sheet large enough to double over and cover from just below your breasts to your pubic bone,
and from your left side to right, wrapping around ribcage on the right (your liver and gallbladder are here).
2. Castor Oil
3. Old Towel
4. Hot Water Bottle or Heating Pad

Gather everything that you will need before beginning the treatment, including a glass of water and a good book.

Soak the flannel with warm water and wring it out well. Then coat one side with castor oil.

Place the flannel, castor oil side to skin, over the areas described above. This will allow the castor oil to work
simultaneously on the liver, gallbladder, intestines, and reproductive organs.

Put an old towel over the flannel.

Put hot water bottle or heating pad on top of the old towel.

Leave in place for 1 hour. Remember to stay hydrated by sipping water. Use this hour to relax: read a good book,
or do some imagery or meditation.

This flannel and oil may be used for weeks or for 20 - 25 applications. To cut the oil, wash skin or towel in a solution
of 3 tablespoons baking soda per one quart of water.
