HOME MADE GRANOLA BARS
Ingredients
· 1 CUP HONEY
· 2/3 CUP ALMOND BUTTER
· 2 2/3 CUPS OATS
· 1 1/3 CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
· 2 CUPS MIX OF CHOICE (CRANBERRIES, RAISINS, CHOCOLATE CHIPS, NUTS, SEEDS, COCONUT,
SESAME SEEDS, WHEAT GERM, ETC.)
· ½ TSP VANILLA
· ½ TSP NUTMEG
· 1 TSP CINNAMON
· ½ TSP CLOVES
Directions
1. MIX HONEY AND NUT BUTTER UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
2. STIR IN OATS, FLOUR, AND “MIX” AND THE REST OF INGREDIENTS. IF MIXTURE IS TOO DRY, ADD
WATER 1 TBSP AT A TIME. IF TOO STICKY, ADD OATS 1 TBSP AT A TIME. MIXTURE SHOULD BE
SLIGHTLY STICKY, BUT EASILY SPREAD IN A PAN WITH GREASED FINGERS.
3. PRESS INTO A 9X13” PAN SLIGHTLY GREASED.
4. BAKE AT 350 F UNTIL BARELY BROWNED (DO NOT OVER BAKE). ABOUT 15 MINUTES.
5. CUT WHILE WARM INTO DESIRED SIZED BARS. WHEN COOL, REMOVE FROM PAN.
